In order for darkness to exist there must be some light and for us, this light chooses to convey itself in the form of these men and women. These are the people that the universe turns to when all else fails for they are the ones who can always be counted on. Taking the moral high ground, no lives would ever be taken by these heroes though they would gladly lay theirs on the line for those who count on them.

For some people who exist in the light the temptations which darkness presents them can prove to be too delectable an opportunity to pass; these people choose to walk the line between the worlds. Willing to do whatever it takes to defend their fellow beings, these men and women are often referred to as anti-heroes.

Darkness exists in every corner of the world and while many are able to resist the temptations which this obsidian cloaked realm hides, others cannot. It is these people, the ones who have let blackness consume their beings, who are called villains and it is they who are willing to do whatever it takes to get what they desire most.
